It fell out while she was in the pond. I have oyster shell free choice and plan to administer calcium tomorrow. So far only one of the six has been laying ,this may have been her first. Hopefully tomorrow morning I will find two eggs with solid shells.

I thought it was a drake. I've read that the drake feather is not always prominent in cayuga, so I would imagine that if indeed it is mallard and cayuga the saga might continue for a bit before you know 100%. That being said ,the color says Male to me
