Wooohoooo!! I got 7 golden comet chicks today at country max. They are resting nicely in their new brooder box with fresh food and nice cool water.- McBride55

Well I went to TSC to get my chicks and they were all sold out. It appears they sold the last of them yesterday. I guess it is time to regroup again and wait to see what happens. Maybe we were not ment to start this year.- McBride55

Cass, I am doing just that. Using a tote to start with pine chips, and feeder/waterer and light. I am getting 6 pulletts as I donLt want any roos. Someone told me to turn the light off at night and cover the brooder to keep it warm, not sure I like that idea. Rancher, I am taking it slow to...- McBride55

Ok, where to start? Got a couple pay checks from the new job. Am going to TSC tomorrow to get 6 Golden Comets that are marked down. Am working on getting the brooder box set up tonight.
