Yes - the lobes are white.
Thanks so much for your help - I did look at the hatchery site but I just couldn't figure it out.
So helpful - I like knowing what I have and this is the first time I just wasn't certain.
Thank you all!
I was given a small flock by a friend but he has no idea what they are. They were purchased from Murray McMurray this spring.
I know there are a few Easter Eggers, but what about the white/black? Or the one with feathered feet?
Still working on getting close to them - they're a bit skittish...
She's a year and a half old, Ideal 236.
She started molting a couple of weeks ago and has been looking pretty ragged, but yesterday, I noticed her standing out under a tree with her head pulled into her neck. She stayed there for hours.
Last night she didn't go into the coop - I had to lift her...
THanks. I think that was the one I was thinking of, although it didn't proovide me with an answer. I have a sick chicken who pooped blueish liquid this morning. Was looking for a clue.
Thank you all for your replies. You brought up some good points. I don't think anything is sneaking in - our coop is very secure (entirely lined with hardware cloth). I don't think they are laying in a secret spot, because there are no eggs even when I keep them in and these birds were loyal...
I have a chicken mystery on which I was hoping some of you might help me shed some light.
A little background: As of this spring, I had a very healthy flock of year-old layers (10 of them). We had some predator issues in the spring which reduced our flock to 4. In July I got 4 new girls who...

A few months over a year in age, she's lethargic, just laying down with her eyes closed - she opens them when I pick her up.
She had green mucousy poop this morning and I found a soft-shelled egg in the coop (can't verify it was hers, but seems plausible, as the others are healthy).
Any ideas...
I'm posting this for a friend of mine -
Something got into her yard yesterday (maybe a dog?) and injured one of her birds pretty badly. Two birds are currently missing - my fingers are crossed that they were just scared off and need to find their way home.
Anyway, I went over to her house last...
I lost a bird yesterday, but I'm not sure what took it...
The girls (we had 11) were free-ranging on the lawn like they do every day, all day. I went out to do a head count at about 10 a.m. before leaving for work and I couldn't find any of the birds, which is unusual. Usually they come to me...
