    Roosters Pros and Cons

    I like them for the protection factor. We eat the ones that are bad. No need to pass on mean rooster genes. Especially when you can have one that's super sweet.

    We have had the opposite experience with our welsummer. Aka Lynette. She's been with us for almost 5 years. Survived several predator attacks. And loves people. She is the boss of the bunch but I have never seen her pick on anyone except for our roosters. She is also one of our best layers still...
