I kinda think it's a boy just based off of comb coloring. One way I always looked at with my chicks was the thickness of their legs. The boys had super meaty legs all the time.
It's hard to tell, but also I've had girl ones who peck me like you described too and boys who didn't
I agree on that it's a boy, but I have no clue which breed! In the first pic I thought partridge something, but the second one, I don't know! Very handsome!
Mine's Nike because that's the name of my first Turken! I was obsessed with turkens lol! She had a bunch of turken babies too and they were so cute.
My avatar is self-explanatory lol.
I would just keep an eye on her if she's hopping up and what not. That's a good sign. It might be bruised or something and causing her pain which will heal itself but if something is broken, then it wouldn't be good.
I don't know why that one is being mean, that just stinks! But maybe you could put a mirror in there or grass clippings or something to keep her focused on something else so she doesn't pick on the other ones. The faverolle and silkie breeds are pretty docile! I heard faverolles do get picked on...
I think it's fine to let them run around :) I don't know about where the other birds were because my birds are in the backyard and I always let the babies in the front. It's good to have chick grit which you just sprinkle a little bit on their food.
