    I will be setting 13 ameracuana chicks today due on the 13th!!! I hope they do good they got here before my new bator ,waiting for it still to get here ,going to start my eggs in my LG that i have duck eggs in till the new bator arrives!!

    2 chicks growing in one egg is there any chance for either of them?

    I have heard of them hatching before I know there was a post a couple weeks ago about this too. I had Twin Ducks in a egg but they quit on me on day 20 of incubation. I know someone with more ifno will be along so i will give ya a bump till they do! Good Luck!!

    Day 24 -Who knows about putting eggs in warm water to check if alive??

    I have taken a small screwdriver and put a small hole in the air pocket end of the egg, there you can see viens in it if its alive without seeing a dead chick if its alive i put clear packing tape back over the hole.

    Thanks! And after reading the other blog that Unek55 told me about I think I want to try it... I have had it with my styrofoam ones!! 32 eggs in one right now that were supposed to hatch on the 15th and still nothing!!! I would so love higher hatch rates...But can't afford the expensive bators...
