  • Oh no! I hope you can get the mites to leave your hen.
I have just 5 hens. And I love them to bits. ;)
Any plans for the day? Hope you have lovely one! Talk to you soon, sis! :)
No worries. I haven't been on much anyway.
Not a whole lot new here. We did get rain yesterday which made me SO happy!! :)
What about you? Anything new? How's the flock these days?
Have a great afternoon! :) *huggies*
Good morning Isabella!!! *HUGS* Ooh...it is still hot in your territory? Thankfully it is cooled off here a bit. Warm and sticky, but no rain. I am so sorry about your Silkie and her leg scale! Keep using the vaseline. It will smother the mites over time. If they were bad enough, she may have a bone infection since she is limping. If she doesn't stop limping in a week or so, you may want to get her on antibiotics. Leg scale can take weeks, even months of daily vaseline applications to heal. So just keep going and don't stop until the scales lay back down. Have a fab day out there my dear, stay cool!!! :-)
    LOL!
Ugh I hate mites! I think some of mine might have had some a while ago ... or maybe that was just wear and tear from the rooster or a nutritional deficiency. I dunno!
Thanks! I kinda prefer dogs to cats! :D
Have a great Tuesday - what's left of it anyways lol!
