Dumb question... which state is the volunteer state? I know very few states' nicknames. We did a class on them back in 5th grade, so I don't remember much because I was never really interested in any of that kind of stuff at that stage of life :-D

The new chicks are doing well. I supervised themin a play pen in the back yard today and Tweety laid down and rolled around in the grass. It was so funny. I guess the bird in my profile pic is a Flicker. That's what a friend told me when I took it and Alex (Alexandra33) said it was a Flicker probably, too.
I was named after my great grandmother Isabella. Even though I never got to meet her here on earth, I know for sure I'll meet her in heaven someday. My family says that I am a lot like her. Very independent, stubborn, shy, all that good stuff and a hard worker... my mom's family is known for hard work. My grandmother (mom's mother) is in her 70's and still is like a young woman. She re-shingled her roof last year, I believe, plus paintd hr chimney, restored an old Ford Model-T a few years back and would do it all again!
