    Here’s another photo. What specifically is roo? The tail? “He” has hen feathers on the neck. He’s almost 4 months. I’m so confused would love to be more educated on Cochin sexing.

    Ok thanks. I think roo too, but still no crowing and I am not seeing saddle feathers? Is it because they mature slowly? He is 4mo and all my other roos of other breeds his age are crowing and look very mature. Can anyone tell me why he is so behind?

    The same as sexing cream legbars? I have 2 hatching in the bator. I want to know how to sex them as soon as they fluff up! Cream legbars= males have a light head spot and females have darker stripes. Is it the same with the opals? TIA

    That looks like bumblefoot to me. Feed store antibiotics like duramicin-10 will generally not help with bumblefoot. From my research, the best course of action is an rx antibiotic like baytril and a local antibiotic on the foot. Also, soak the foot in a saline bath until the scab softens...
