My husband bought 25 New Hampshires last spring. When I went to pick up feed the following week there were 8 extra peeps for sale. They consisted of 1 Araucanas, 1 Barred Plymouth Rock, 2 Light Brahmas, 4 Silver Laced Wyandottes. All were to be female. We were so excited to learn 3 months...

Interesting....on the size thing. We got white giants, black giants and araucanas. The araucanas are bigger than the whites and the blacks. Time will tell on this too. The hatchery is wonderful so I can not imagine them not being giants.
Update...We still have a puffy peep, and she does not seem to be growing as fast. Time will tell. She does keep up with the rest and is not being singled out.

We have a new isssue......a week old jersey white giant had the crusty clumb on her rear. Cleaned it and watched her and she was able to pooo. But she is huge and feels bloated even her head. What could this be?
