Thanks so much for the hugs!! *HUGS* They sure are cute birds but they are not like chickens where you can hold or handle them much. They are more to look at than anything. LOL They will eat from your hand and can learn their names, come running when they see you, but they are pretty stand offish for the most part. LOL Enjoy your day!!

I'm so glad your hen is feeling better!! Yay!
The work at the lodge was tiring but overall good. We were done by 4 in the afternoon.

Hi Isabella! Yes, those are a pair of Bobwhite quail. The male, (on the right) just passed away 2 days ago from old age, His mate, (on the left) passed on last year. I have one male left and he is also quite old. Hope you are having a great day out there!!

It's cooler here today too. I hope your hen gets better! You might want to soak her in water with a little ACV.

Thanks! Yes, we do have that many, but it's not as fun as it sounds. Too much commotion!
