Pros: Not as expensive, holds a good number of eggs.
Cons: Not a good thermometer, no hygrometer.
Love it! It isn't as expensive and is easy to use. I've done two hatches so far and am doing a third currently. But you MUST buy a thermometer/hygrometer for it! I has no hygrometer, which is a necessity, and the thermometer it comes with isn't precise enough to use. However That was easily taken care of. It is pretty big. I have 18 eggs in it currently, but It can hold more. I'd say about 30 if you aren't using an automatic turner. Holds temp pretty well. It heats up, then starts to cool, but starts heating again when it gets about a degree less. I am very happy with this and would recommend this to anyone who doesn't have $200 bucks to spend on an incubator. Just make sure you have a plan if the power goes out. The styrofoam doesn't hold heat well went the power is out.
Some hatch pics.

Pros: SUPER bright! No escaping light! Great Rubber tips!
Cons: I can't think of any....
I love this little Gadget! There is no escaping light. I can look at the eggs perfectly! It has removable rubber "tips" Which you put on when you candle. One with a large hole for big eggs, and one with a small hole for quail eggs. It is very bright! Really happy with it!

Pros: Require little space, Lay well (When it's warm), Quiet, cute
Cons: They spill their food EVERYWHERE! , Some will make a Dash,
We have four of these little birds. They are very Cute, as well as very quiet. They don't require much space. They all lay at a steady rate (When it is warm, as soon as the cold hits they shutdown) The main Con is that they spill their food EVERYWHERE. You have to have a pan (We used a Baking Sheet) under their feeder (If you have wire caging). One of ours tries to escape when I open the lid to the coop, she once did it while the cat was nearby, thankfully I grabbed the cat.
Pros: GREAT for Quails!
Cons: Pan doesn't slide that easily...
This hutch Is GREAT for quails! We got it at TSC and it was pretty easy to set up. We have four full-grown Coturnix quails in it, and they still have room to run around. The Quail don't use the bar in it, they just hide under it. We currently have the pan on the ground under it, it didn't slide out that easily. The wire floor is great for quails. They've never gottten feet stuck. We keep it up on the porch were it's somewhat protected, I don't think it would do that great out in the open. If I were to keep chickens in it, I think It would hold 2 max.
Pros: GREAT layers, Beautiful coloring,
Cons: Skiddish
I got Khaki Campbells in the Spring. Out of the other ducklings I had, they were the most water-crazy. They positively Loved it! Though once they got to crazy as ducklings and got cold....

. They are pretty skiddish. They are the BEST layers out of all the ducks I've ever had! They lay every day, (Big eggs too...) Even when one of them was isolated and feeling down, I got my egg! So for anyone who's looking for great layers, get these! (and some runners)

Pros: Funny, Beautiful, Friendly, Great layers
It's true I've only ever had two Runners, but I would gladly get more! They are very funny and have such personality and make me laugh, they are also great eggs layers. The Runner I currently own is the friendliest duck in my flock as well as the most unattached to just one duck, she just like to be with someone. I might get more, they are just a great breed in my opinion. I think they would make a great pet. Some people say they're noisy, but as far as I know I haven't noticed mine being that loud.

Pros: Quiet, Sweet, Beautiful
Cons: Skiddish, but I didn't really work on making them not afraid of me anyway...
I really love these ducks, when I was looking for breeds to have in my flock in the Spring, I saw these and decided to get some to breed since they were rare. I currently have one couple, not all of them made it. They are very sweet, though shy, but that may be because I didn't really work on making it so they won't be afraid of me. My boy Magpie just might be my favorite of the flock. I like knowing that I'm helping preserving a rare breed, especially one as charming as the Magpie. I think they are a great choice of duck. My girl is sweet and shy, I've seen her put her head under one of the boy's head as if for protection, she's a very gentle little lady. All in all they are a great duck!
Pros: Inexspensive, easy to fill, easy to clean
Cons: empties quick, spills easily
I used this for my ducklings. I had nine and they drain this in a flash, so I recommend that if you use this only use it for about 3 ducklings max.. It has to be perfectly level or it will drain out slowly. The ducklings spilled the water everywhere, but that's ducks

. It can be cleaned easily and filled easily. I think would work well for someone raising a 1-3 ducks but not 9+
