Our Serama Coop
We just built this incredible Serama coop.
The above photo shows the "work" bench to the right. This will actually hold our little HovaBators along with the chick brooders. Underneath the bench we store their food in plastic stacking tubs.
Under the window you can see our...
My neighbor and I are going to purchase a dozen day old bobwhite quail. When she spoke with the guy he told her you could not keep a trio of bobwhite together that they mate a 1/1 ratio. That doesn't sound right to me. She is going to keep the majority of them and I wanted only a trio as...
We have some coming from Jerry next week. We hope to go down there soon but even though we are in the same state it is still about a 6+ hour drive. We haven't been able to leave the farm for a trip like that lately.
We are looking for a few Serama Breeding age hens. All colors except black please. Will pay to ship is quality is there. Pictures are a must.
Thank you!

Please PM me...

I have a 2 day old Serama chick that I noticed today had one eye stuck shut. I wet a qtip with warm water, moistened the eye really well, and got it open. A lot of yellow puss looking stuff came out. After that the eye looked normal & bright and stayed open. I just went and looked again and...
near the foot of the chick, it's a black chick and this yellow stuff looks out of place. I didn't see this before in the last batch I had to help out because of humidity issues.
Thanks. I think it's going to be a LONG night! I'm pretty sure I can see yolk that has yet to be absorb in two of them. I wonder why they zipped so stinkin' far out if the yolk wasn't absorbed? I've got the humidity up and wrapped a damp paper towel around the rest of the egg. Hopefully...
