    Behavior question

    She is definitely Broody. I have removed her from the nesting box several times today and walked around with her and made sure she is eating and drinking. Tomorrow I'm going to get a large kennel for her new daytime abode. She laid another egg too. It's just another day on our little farm.

    How did this egg get a hole in it?

    We have a Hen that lays eggs in the haystack. Yesterday I found an egg in her nest and another a bale below with a hole in it about the diameter of a chicken's beak. Would the Hen have pushed this egg out of her nest and pecked a hole in it? The egg's contents were intact.
