    Broken beak, help!

    My crossbeak rooster breaks his top beak every now and then. The quick is exposed and he eats very carefully (he actually can pick up the food easier when his beak breaks) and doesn't attack my husband's shoes until he beak grows back in. Ignore me in the photo.

    Okay! I will spray down the coop and run and check everyone's feet. Her crop seems to be ok and she is eating and drinking. She is just distancing herself from the rest of the flock. Her rooster past away two weeks ago and she has been really bummed.

    I know, that's life. But, I'm looking for someone who has respect for chickens and isn't going to throw them in the back field for the coyotes because they got annoyed with these roosters. I've had to put down a rooster because he got so aggressive towards people and he was massive/ a liability.
