We raised them for about 4 months, then gave them to a friend who had a "real" coop.

What are everyone's results? 7/17 = 41% hatch rate on our shipped eggs.
Set 17, tossed 8 clear on day 18.
9 went to lock down and 7 hatched. (2 developed but didn't hatch)

Did you have to move her to a separate brooding pen? how long will you keep her with the chicks?

We ended up with 7 chicks.
The last 2 eggs never pipped. We candled them and then opened them today. The 2 chicks were fully
formed but dead... so sad.
But! the good news is that we have 7 beautiful babies!

1 zipping Blue Ameraucana and 4 Pips. The last one hasn't done anything yet.
