Nope, no onion. I'm careful with her! Just cheesy pizza goodness and her being in molt and this pizza place being good as far as ingredients go let her sneak a few bites as the protein is good for her right now! She is a year old!! Birthday is August 2nd 2015!
Need help understanding the effects of 'infrasound' on poultry such as chickens, ducks, geese, livestock such as cows, horses, goats, etc and pets such as dogs, cats, etc. Namely the effects of the infrasound produced by large wind turbines.
Any info, stories, facts, etc would be very much...
I have a large pet water bottle. The kind mainly used for rats, mice, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. Only this one was made for puppies
so its a pretty large sized bottle with a large spout. Could I put feed it it and use it for a chicken feeder? Would it help keep them from wasting feed? Their...
Looking for silkies again. Hens but will look at pullets. No unsexed chickens/cockerels/roosters.
Pet/hatchery quality OK! Age doesn't matter either. I just need some good broodies!
Might take a look at other extremely broody/good momma bantam chicken breeds, like bantam Cochin.
No standard...
Same age group. As far as the age I'm guessing pretty close to maturity. But not exactly sure. I was told by several people in the breeds/genders section he is indeed a he though :)
Which is good because now I don't need to go about finding a roo ^_^
He's defiantly really boyish! :)
He is a boy :)
Its not all chirping although there is recording of him chirping in the video but if you listen closely to the last bits of the video you can hear the crowing. Some of the chirping is also coming from Pumpkin the serama pullet he is housed with. ^_^
He is not good at the crowing...
I'm pretty sure my serama chickie Button is learning to crow.
Not very good at it yet! You can hear him crow two times towards the end of the video.
:)
Anyone else have had roosters that sounded funny when learning to crow?
:P
Well it looks like you all are right!
I thought he was a he when I first got them. But when I originally posted here a few weeks ago people were saying he was a she.
But my gut instinct and the latest answers I've gotten prove to be right Button is a boy. I woke up to some very pathetic attempts...
I've had a rooster before who looked like he would do the egg squats from time to time.
He was defiantly a boy and not one of those famous crowing hens! :P
I'm guessing a few months old. They are almost full grown/adults.
Fully feathered and starting to mature into adults. They aren't really peeping anymore they've got some adult chicken voices now.
