Is there any physical difference between how you feel on a daily basis when you're on a vegan diet vs a vegetarian one? I am not either but have considered a vegetarian diet. My issue is I'm very weak when it comes to eggs n cheese. Lol. Plus. I have chickens n adore fresh eggs.... Any idea's?
Lol. I'm not a vegetarian but I have chickens cuz we love fresh eggs n I never would have thought I'd enjoy them as much as I do. And just a lil FYI .... I'm never gonna eat them once they quite laying, we r too attached. Lol
I've tried a vegetarian diet cuz I love veggies but after about a week n half I folded, I only eat it a few times a week but every now n again I do love a good steak. Lol
I have 6 hens ( still to young to lay tho) and I got them because we live eggs and also cuz I've always wanted some. One day my husband says, as he's building the coop "what r we gonna do w/ these hens when they stop laying?". I said nothing, they will be retired n keep my blood pressure down...
My husband is quite the carnivore but on nights that are meatless we make a giant salad. I use whatever I have on hand so I call it the " kitchen sink salad". It usually has everything but the kitchen sink in it. Plus garlic bread or bread sticks. Makes a very very filling dinner :-)
I'm not a vegetarian but I do know friends who did it for 30 days n felt just Awsome physically. I tried it ( no vegan for me, I love eggs n cheese too much) but only made it about a week n a half. I love veggies n do not want meat ev night but after a while I gave in cuz I really wanted a...
We had a 3 yr hitch in Alaska while in the military and being born n raised in cal, ive have my share of snow! I feel for u guys up there, stay warm, stay safe n I'm sending well wished for ur animals too!
Let me begin with saying you didn't offend me at all. I feel you have eloquently explained your reasoning ( even tho you certainly owe no one an explanation) I was just curious as to what guidelines veg/ vegans follow because they seem to change alot. I was born n raised in cal on the coast and...
Very interesting point. I read this thread more for education than anything else because I am not a vegan/ vegetarian. As I read on I see many sides to the issue but I think I'm more confused now than ever before. I understand n support ones personal preferences and or choices as I would hope...
That's a very interesting point about fertilizer. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I've never even considered the fertile soil that a large part of thier diet is grown in. Wow, it's almost as if no matter what we eat, there's something "wrong" with all foods. Do we just go to air for food now...
I think being a vegan or vegetarian takes more self disapline than I'll ever have. Lol. I think that all the preservatives, refined sugars and all the other junk we eat is probably far worse for the human body than a grilled chicken breast but that's just opinion. If eating all veggies makes u...
