My baby pea is 17 days ! She is 95grams however she has just started not eating on her own. She was doing great and now won't eat unless it's out of my hand. She is the only chick that survived and we play with her a lot but I'm scared she isn't getting enough since she won't do it on her own...
She has all of sudden hit high energy! She runs around box like crazy! She was playing with us on the floor and started pecking at my diamond so I put crumble on my knuckle she went for it!! Yay! She is getting hang of it.
I'm weighing her daily she has lost .1oz from yesterday this is normal...
Yes I have crumbs too and put on my finger tap the bowl nothing she is not insterested. I have gotten her to drink but food is not going well she is day and half old. Any other tips?
Thanks! Finally I just hope I'm doing things right. She is getting my attention as much as possible.Im trying to get her to eat mashed hard boiled egg yolk how much should she eat she is maybe getting a couple nibbles! I'm so nervous to lose herI love her
I taped the baby chicks legs but she rolls to her back and sleeps. It's like she is lazy she eats from me and drinks just no desire to stand.... I know the baby pea would love her company but just don't know if this chick is gonna make it.
Thanks! She does peep A LOT!
I have a baby chick but her legs are wonky so until she stands I didn't think I could put them in together. I'm trying to give her as much attention but I also have 2 toddlers.
I have a peachick that hatched yesterday her egg buddy didn't make it so she is alone. I'm trying to show her water and mashed hard boiled egg yolks. I know they need companions any tips?
I have a peahen that has started sitting she has 2 eggs she is rotating and sitting on. My question is she is in with 3 other peahens and the male how soon do I need to move her and hopefully hatched chicks out? Or are they ok?
Thanks. I will open vents didn't know that part. Adjust temperature. The air sacks are saddle shape on the one that didn't pipe. The others that get beak out air sack is gone. May try to lower humidity in incubator to 40% is 75-80% to high for hatchery?
Just to pick everyone's brains. This my first year trying to hatch and success is 0.
We have 4 peahens and 1 male on scene. Although I think only 3 peahens are laying. I don't think my BS likes Gus
