I went to the coop and a baby chick had hatched today...when I turned it over I saw Gray bugs on it moving dast the size of lice.....what are they and how do I treat it??? tHIS IS THE SAME CHICK IN BOTH PICS. i HAD SURGERY ON MY RIGHT HAND AND ITS HARD TO MANUEVERE. Hope cure is easy.

Ok, so its not Winter yet and this drought and heat have us like crazy here in Texas, but I have all my flocks with coops, and in Winter which are wet and very cold from as low as 24 to 50s depending on Mother Nature and her mood...I have heat lamps in the coops with red lights. and the door...

Yes, in this picture they were younger than now...they were born On March 9th, but started laying in Early July...which I found strange...this was the only current pic I had of them to post....When they first started laying they were laying hard shelled eggs, but now they are soft all the time...
Ok My ducks started laying at 4mos old...and at first the eggs were the way there suppose to be, firm and nice....now almost 1mo later, there eggs are soft shells...I feed them the same food I feed my flocks....laying pellets, my chickens have hard shells....

Have a kiddie pool for them...its not the real small one but also not the biggest one they make. the only problems is every few days I have to get a bucket and empty it out, one bucket at a time and then refill...I do this and like 2hrs later is dirty and by the end of the day flithy!!!! and end...
