Thanks! I did the night time thing when i put my Cornish X in there for the few weeks before butchering it worked out well. I think i may set them in a dog cage next to the run so they can see each other everyday this week.(bringing them in at night) and this weekend ill introduce them to the coop.
I have a Questions. I have 3 EE's in my coop now that are roughly a year old and have 4 other hens/chicks i have been raising (2EE/2BR) that are roughly the same height that are 11 weeks old. When can I introduce them into the coop?
I run sand in the Floor of the coop and my brother in law is a Hay/straw farmer and thats what they has always used in there coop. Ill see what happens when they start laying thanks for the Advice.
I can finally start seeing what my chicks are going to look like at full size. They are right about 4-5 weeks right now. When can you tell if they are hens or roos? They are supposed to be all hens and most of them seem to be filling out like hens. Just really curious. Thanks
Here is 4 of my 6 EE no names yet
This one is the biggest really calm when you pick her up.
This one is the same way love to be held the other run off in a corner and she runs out.
Posing for the Camera.
This one is my Favorite. The smallest of the run.
