Hi guys and gals,
Just checking in with baby pics and crazy birth story. Our planned home birth went askew when the midwife discovered that baby was breech. Off to the hospital and in the nick of time; baby was a footling breech and had one foot coming out while the other leg was caught up...
Wondering if anyone wants to swap plants at all? I have a mess of onions and chives, could share some bee balm, daylilies, mint, or comfrey too.
I plan to make a fruit trifle and either salad or chips. Is it bring your own drinks?
Bigz, Im bringing a print for the raffle, if you like.
Carpooling with Mamahubbard, so dont have much space for plants. Horseradish is about the only thing i can bring, if anyone wants some.
Sure, no problem! Just remind me later. ;)
Redpennies, your comfrey looks great! Smart to keep it in a pot. The rootball on my original plant is super dense. Its a crazy tough plant.
Comfrey would be a good sized plant with roots (maybe a half-gal pot size), and I would cut down the leaves for shipping. Its tough tough stuff so it will regrow pretty easily. i thought I had this particular clump eradicated and here it is in full force again this spring.
Mine on the saintly salve. That stuff is awesome.

*Raises hand for trumpet vines* :) Is it not too late to start tomatoes? DH needs to build me a little frame for my grow lights. I wanted them started beginning of April. Hmm.
It was I who brought broccoli.....I'll gladly bring it again if it self-sowed like I think it did.
I'll do the tried and true GF cheesecake, probably some veggies or fruit too.
I have horseradish, heliopsis, oregano, yellow daylilies, morning glory seeds. Might have broccoli and ground cherry starts, they went to seed again last fall.
I grew okra from Sandhill very successfully a couple...
Yes, I'll be digging from well-established plants. Almost everything here is still dormant so I would expect good survivability. I usually send about a softball sized clump of roots.
