I acquired this black baby a bit ago, along with a golden sebright, from my son's teacher (classroom hatch). They are a few weeks old. Does anyone know what breed it might be?

My Muscovy hen rejected a baby that hatched two days after the others. I found it taken out of the nest, sprawled out, and cold. He is in a brooder, of course, with non medicated feed and electrolytes. He made it through the night :) He is definitely getting stronger, but his legs are still...
^^ definitely true. The only place my duck will let me pet him is the back base of his neck... And you can tell he doesnt like it and is just letting me do it to please ME. Lol. And i spend 24/7.... Literally... With him.... From the time he broke out of his egg. I hear geese like petting...
The only one ive had experience with out of those as pets are buffs. I didnt like mine. It depends on the breed, of course, to a certain extent.... But its important to ask the breeder which they think is best suited. One Breeders flock can be a world different from the next breeders flock...

Im jumping out of my skin looking at these set ups. Ive wanted a pond since i can remember. We are in the military, though, and theres no use doing anything permanent. Im itching bad for a pond for my duckies! For now i use a horse trough. Lol
