I have a beautiful blue copper maran roo and 2 beautiful black copper maran hens and my first egg from them hatched a white chick..Confused? Never seen this before and I've hatched many BCMs. - I have a dozen more in the bator due to hatch soon... so I guess we'll see what those come out as...
Alright guys so this things vintage, but it still works, I got it from my in-laws, he said I could have it if I got it working, cleaned it up, plugged her in and the heat went up to about 114 and then shut off... then dropped a tad and went back up again.
So everything works, right?

Whats going on here? I let them out at 6;30 AM every morning, and I put them in at 9;30 at night, every day...
I have a 8 amereacanas as well.. but their younger then the ISAs I know that for sure, probably about 18-19 weeks.

Yeah me too! I did put on in a cage and left it outside for 10 mins and he called for a bit, then I put him back inside his pen (which they'll stay locked up till they are older!)
& then 2 hours later...I went outside to feed my girls some yogurt and noticed a little head in long grass.. it was...
I lost my 4.. 2 month old guineas.
Lastnight, I lost all 4, they didn't go back into their pen this time.. I looked for 2 hours, trees long grass everything.. nothing.
So I woke up at 5;37, right at sunrise, put some 'treats' out before I let my chickens/ducks out...
went back out at 6;30 and...

Went out this AM, every morning all the chickens would go out and run out and start doing their thing. This one that I had found lastnight just stayed in her nesting box. So I put her down near food, she ate.. got water.. so I was like 'alright, shes fine..' go back out to count my chickens &...
Everynight before bed my chickens go in the coop and go inside and I count them. I got in total 19 hens. Today I was counting 18.. I was on a man hunt for litterly an hour.
I went back inside the house, grabbed the flash light after looking pretty much until dark. I was about to give up but...
I was the lucky type.
My ducks are huge babies. Everynight at around 9 or 9;30 they will lay down in front of their pen door. once I see that, its time to go in and feed them :)
Just keep at it with treats.
