Well here we go again, Tying this thread to the my last hatching thread. The hatching continues! Ive got 80+ set in the bator right now, with more being set tonight :) So pull you up and chair and hatch along with us over the boring winter months :)

Ok So to get this started, I just set 70 eggs this morning. But due to a loss of 40 eggs that were incubating I am doing one last hatch. I plan to set my eggs on the 27th. Breed and #'s tbd. SO, pull up a chair, enjoy yourselves, and hatch along with me!

Has anyone recently bred a bronze tom to a BBB hen? I do have a pair of BBB's (tom is thanksgiving) but the hen has been laying almost daily. We also have a standard bronze tom tho he is still young, a young blue slate tom 3 bronze and a bourbon red hen. I took 6 of the eggs for a friend to set...

Our oldest ducks are bout 12 weeks old currently, and still living with the chickens in their run until our npip testing is complete. My questions are these: What do yall use for duck pens? What do you use for nesting for your ducks? We are pretty new to this so any hints/tips/tricks would be...
Finally got a few pics of the coop and run. Had to do some major repairs and lose the largest part of the run thanks to our horses.... Right now they are all sharing the 16x16 under the chicken wire while we arent home & right now they will be staying penned and accounted for untill our npip...

I ordered 150 chicks from Meyer hatchery, set to ship out tomorrow. First time using Meyer but with the good reviews, i have no worries. Ordered the frypan bargan and cornishx broilers to fill the freezer, and blue andalusians to add to the laying flock. Plan on trading off about 50 of the roos...
