I really want to buy a tiny house but It's just not easy to do. And finding land where you can park is even harder. Anyone else into the tiny house movement?
has anyone tried this? Does it work?

I bought 4 banties from Cackle and they sent me a 5th that I'm starting to think it a roo. I absolutely cannot have roos and I'm limited to 4 hens in Longmont CO So I am looking for a new home for this one. Very sweet only 2 months old. Looks like Barred rock coloring, supposed to be a Cochin.
I am a vegetarian but I believe that we all have the right to eat what we want. If I want to eat healthy that right should not be taken away from me! How is it that raw meat is OK to eat but not raw milk. Please watch this documentary and help it go viral.
Farmageddon
I just picked up 2 Blue ones to add to my flock. They are adorable! But no way to know if they are pullets or roos. I have never had Silkies so what do I look for as they grow? I am really hoping they are not roos.
Ok I live on an acre and a half and have to share the property with a neighbor who lives adjacent to my house but about 500 ft away. My chicken area is right in front of my house but can be seen from the neighbors. Now I am a very private person but don't mind being neighborly once in awhile...
I just ordered 5 Buff Brahma hens from Ideal and I have to say. Excellent customer service they have. However. now I have 16 packing roo chicks. What in the world am I going to do with them???
I just ordered 5 pullets from ideal and i read they add some roos for warmth? What do you guys do with the roos? I can't possible keep 5 or 6 roos around.
I can keep them till they are a few months old if need be
Do any of you have families that just ridicule you for having chickens? Or make fun of you becasue you cannot easily leave town? I don't have people who can look after my hens and leaving them all night means not being able to lock them up.
I get so tired of trying to defend myself to people...
The noise is horrendous. I live on an acre but the neighbors can hear it. It is not the egg song, they do this before they lay. They have just started laying so I'm hoping it will calm down soon.
They get in the box, jump out, get back in, get out all the while making this horrific noise...
My hens are used to free ranging but I just moved to a more rural area and I cannot risk it as I have seen several foxes out during the day and I had a raccoon attack a few nights after I moved in. They have an enclosed run but they pace up and down all day.
I feel bad for them but I don't...
I just moved to a place I actually used to live that became available again. it is on 2 acres shared with another house. I knew we had raccoons and foxes as they used to be all over my porch at night. My neighbors all had their chickens killed by coons so I never wanted to get any. But at the...
What is the easiest way to ground an electric fence to put around a small run? They have a grounding pole at Murdochs but it is over $60.00. There must be an easier way?
Comb and wattle are getting really red and large. He/she is almost 5 months old and was supposed to be a guaranteed hen. These are white Orpingtons. this one has always been a bit larger. If I need better pics i can try. What do you think?
I am not handy with building and I need to put a floor in my chick n barn. If I went to Lowes or Home Depot would they precut a piece of wood for me? Then I could cut on notches to fit the corners?
Also how could I secure it so coons can get the sides open?
Any help is appreciated.
