    Hi I have 12 red sex links and 4 barred rock I got my first egg 3 weeks ago today I collected 7 eggs I,m on my 4th egg carton full . Not counting what we've eaten. we have eaten a bunch and every one has been a double yoke. Is this common with these breeds ?

    How often should I change chips?

    I have an 4FT X 8 FT x 2 ft high brooder with 25 Plymouth rocks 25 goldlinks and a turkey .. they are 2 weeks old and don't seem to like the paper towels over the chips anymore. they pull them up .. with the size brooder I have could I go 3 days before changing out the wood chips ?
