Having a problem with thin egg shells,even a couple of shellless eggs. I feed them layena crumbles and some table food every now and then. Tried giving them crushed oyster shells but they don't seem to care for it.what can I add to their diet to help this out?

Not sure if this is the right section for this question. This is my first summer with chickens and I've noticed that since its gotten hot my egg production has dropped dramatically. Is it a coincidence or is this normal. Thanks in advance.

My 3 hens(possibly 2 with 1 roo)have what seems to me almost doubled there water intake. Weather here is very mild.is this a sign the they are possibly going to start laying.they are approximately 17 weeks old
