I’ve got a few more pet quality saxony hens than I need. Not yet laying but should start in spring or sooner if you supplement light. One from Holderread this spring, the others hatched from my own flock. Two, maybe three available.- dotknott

Hatching issues
I've been having all kinds of hatching issues this season. In the past to hatches everybody has been a little bit late coming out of the show. At least two days making for a 30 day incubation period. In my last hatch I had one duckling that hatched with crookneck, that duckling did not survive... -
Super glue
This afternoon while engaging in some consensual duck cuddles home girl got her toenail caught in my sweater. I've got her cleaned up, and was thinking about how to bandage the wound. I was thinking super glue would work as it's original purpose was as a liquid suture. Thoughts? -

Claret bib?
I've been perusing Storey's guide as of late, and have come across a few references to claret bibs. "...undersized claret bib on the chest in males are highly objectionable." I can't seem to find any mention of what a claret bib is however. Just wondering if anyone could fill me in. -
