So I did not know where to put this question, so here it is I have a barred rock rooster and I have never seen this kind of feather, does anyone know anything about it? It is just so strange.
Could it be a difficincy or just a malfunction of the feather making process
Her nose is cloged and her face is like a balloon. I don’t know what to do. Can someone help? The other side of her face is OK just the one side is not.
To Start out the ducks have mostly recovered and are now doing ok.
I went to check on my Flock on Tuesday and I found my 1 duck dead 2 having seizures and the rest shaking and acting very strange. No injuries, no holes in the enclosure, they had plenty of fresh water, and it was not a hot day...
For background information, this duck was born with wry neck and still has an issue from that, but was corrected as best I could so she already has a weird gate and her neck is always weird. But other than that she has been relatively healthy and active. But today I went to the coop and I saw...
I have some broiler turkeys that I plan on having for Thanksgiving and I noticed two of my turkeys have weird lumps near the beak I was wondering is there something I can do for it or is it even worth doing anything with them being butchered in a few weeks.
So I have been looking on the Purina website and I found if you send in the proof of purchase (The little Squares on the back of the feed bag) for their rabbit feed, if you collect enough and send them in you can get a free bag or item depending on how many you send. Anyway, I was wondering if...
I came out to my coop this morning to give them food and water, and I found one of the older chicks laying on the ground. I thought she was just bathing at first but now she has a severe injury. I have a decent sized first aid kit for chickens, but I don’t know what to use to make her better. I...
So I have a duck just got attacked. I found all the ducks outside their cage this morning. I found this buck limping around. He seems to be in a lot of pain, but he is still alive and alert. In the pictures that I will show show what happened but I can’t get complete pictures because it hurts...
So I let my ducks out yesterday to run around the yard and I noticed one of my male ducks was staying in the coop, so I went to go check on him when I came in he had an injury on his eye. It is leaking pus, and he is shaking his head and body. This particular duck is seven years old I already...

I have a turkey that hatched out some eggs so I gave her six eggs one egg was in fertile two hatched three died while developing. The chick is a few days old and the second chick that hatched died. There are no stores around that have turkey chicks in stock, and everybody is out of chicken...
I was talking care of my duck when I noticed this. The egg itself is all the way out but the egg has no shell and is stuck to her by some kind of thread it trails behind. Before I could get to her to look at the situation another duck poked at the egg and broke it. Should I be concerned about...
I have a Peking duck with an eye infection. It started 3 weeks ago like this
I be had my other ducks get it before, so I thought it would be an easy fix. I treated with teramyacin/veteracin every day. It was staying the same up until today when I found her like this ( I put her in the tub to...
I have a coop of 30 hens, and I have been having problems with egg eating. There are only one or two eggs in the nest box, and a ton of sticky yellow egg everywhere.
I feed a layer feed, with a acess to grit/oyster shell at all times. As well as some dog food for extra protein.
At first I...
I have already tried putting it in a glass with a sock to make the legs go into place, but it keeps escaping. I also tried band aids to make a brace . The legs are kind of going backwards (legs are not held under the chick). The chick had a verry rough hatching. If that has anything to do with it.
The chick has been hatching for 3 days now. The initial pip had blood. So I let it be, but today I found it like this. When I look in the bottom of the shell there is blood. How do I go about helping this chick
