How do you manage goose poop - in the yard everywhere the rain or my hose takes care of it... but at night in their house on litter it is a mess. They poop all night long and I am changing their shavings every night and it's getting very tiring! I change the chickens about every 2 weeks but...
It's hot here and the parents have been on the pond with the goslings (6 weeks or so mostly feathered out and getting big) and one of the goslings keeps sitting down when they walk. Others graze and she goes and then sits. I noticed when she dips her head to pick at some grass water dribbles...
Need advice on situation:
We have 2 females and 2 males. I accidientally put the wrong gander in with the wrong goose and when they hatched the wrong mate helped raise them. Goslings are 6 weeks old now. We have 4.

We have 7-8 week old goslings - almost fully feathered.
They get into the cracked corn out for squirrells and whistler ducks that stop by. It's in a pan on the ground and they see it and RUN yelling "CANDY!!!!!!!!!!" and stuff their little faces!
Parents eat it too. It's 101 degrees here...

Sorry this is so long but it is good to read if you have geese. Also, if you have a cell phone - don't leave it in your pocket when you jump into the pond to break up a gander fight! If you do, put in sun for 24-48 hours and then hit w/ hair dryer and it might come back to life.

Get a baby monitor wireless camera - they are cheap!!!
Put the camera in the coop and put the monitor by your bed.
Turn volume down low but audible.
When something bothers geese... YOU WILL HEAR COMOTION!
