    My JB mama is still going strong. The chick is about 4-5 weeks old. Yesterday the roo started chasing mama around again. She shook him off and he let her. I didn't think that would happen again so soon?

    I had a lot of spilled feed too, the girls like to dig in their feed buckets. They will dig on the ground for the food - as you said its dry and still good. I switched to pellets, NO WASTE!! Its amazing how long it takes them to go through a full bucket now! And, cheaper for me. My broody...

    None of my birds has done a full molt! Both my JB roo and my wheaten marans hen just sort of thinned out feather wise, looked scruffy then suddenly began looking better and better until you'd swear someone had swapped them out almost overnight!! What's wrong with them, or is that normal too...
