I would think that your American standard Araucanas would be one of the most difficult birds in the world to breed, with all those lethal recessives etc.
I find my Australian Araucanas are one of the easiest breeds with fantastic egg laying ability and fertility.
Of course it takes some work to...
They look to be good quality chooks. You shouldn't have any trouble selling some.
If you are trimming the wings, I recommend only doing one wing as that will unbalance them and make flying difficult.\
If you do both wings they learn to compensate.
I use pure sulphur powder. It is a major ingredient of the commercial dusting powders, but far cheaper to buy by the kilo
from your local produce store.
