    The color is Golden Neck. She looks like a d'Anvers, but she should have a rose comb.

    It's possible that it's a cockerel. The roosters do develop more slowly. But I wouldn't say for sure at this age.

    They could be Silkie x something smooth feathered mix. That would explain the dark skin, beard and 5 toes.

    Probably not show quality, but you never know. I have a Golden Neck d'Uccle from a hatchery that is nice enough to show. She's not a show winner, but she has won Best of Breed before. :)

    I agree. We need to know what type comb it has. It could just be the blurry picture, but it looks like a pea comb. If so, it's not an Australorp. I would like to see a side shot of the bird, too.

    If it is a rooster, it's comb will probably being to turn red in another couple of weeks, three at most.
