    Breed... Asians?

Blue Andalusians don't just come in Blue Color. They can be Blue, Splash and Black, like you have.

    Breed... Asians?

They did the same thing at my TSC. Actually I believe them to be Blue Andalusians because when I talked to the staff, box was marked with BAND so that makes sense. Looking at your chicks they look like them too.

    What are we?

Wonderful! That's a great step in the right direction :) I also have some smaller ones that came in the box, and they look alot like the ones above. I'll grab some photos of them too. They are all very similar so I'm wondering if it's possible to know the breed too.

Hoping to get some opinions on this Easter Egger. I'm confused by the red since I see it throughout not just shoulders. The age is almost 11 weeks. Hopefully others can chime in to let me know what I have here. If more pics are needed I can get some. Thanks!

Does the Brick Red Coloration always mean rooster? Can hens have that color if its spread throughout?

    Red Pullets from TSC

I have a flock of those that are a little over a year old that I got from TSC. They looked exactly like yours as chicks, and mine are all hens. Great egg layers too

    Questions about Molting and Egglaying

Thank you both very much for sharing your knowledge. I really appreciate it! I feel like I now have a good understanding of how things work in the molting department. I decided to just get a few more chicks to keep the eggs coming when my girls molt. Gave me an excuse to get more chicks

    Questions about Molting and Egglaying

I'm hoping for some more information on this. I purchased chicks last February and they started to lay at the end of July. I've read they molt around 18 months in the fall, so does this mean if I want eggs this coming winter that I should get another batch of chicks now? Will my current birds...
