WANTED - RIR or NH Red Rooster

I don't know why, but I didn't get notified of your reply to my thread. How old is he? Is he still available? I was about to give up on this (especially since someone already stood me up) and order one with some other birds this spring...

    Keeping the Water Clean

This is the best, cleanest way to water chickens (and its pretty cheap and easy): BYC Thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/519166/nipple-waterers-with-5-gallon-bucket With my chicks I just make a smaller version for the brooder with a plastic Folgers coffee can

    Have you used chicken nipples?

That's all I use... best things ever. I use a 5 gallon bucket and four 360 degree Superflow nipples in the bottom and hang it from the ceiling of the coop; it has a sealed lid on top of the bucket (bought the lid at Lowes) with a hole that I have the hose stuck into to fill... water always stays...

Mystery Roo - What breed is he?

Ok, got more pictures... and yes, it looks like the legs are green... weird, cuz I could have sworn they were yellow..

Mystery Roo - What breed is he?

White lobes Legs are not green, more like yellow and have no feathers on them I am working on getting better pictures... the comb is a walnut comb I believe. Murray McMurray sells 'rare exotic breeds' and this is what this was from... are they just mixed breeds (EE or the like) and they give...

Mystery Roo - What breed is he?

I know what an easter egger is... thanks. I don't think that's the case with this one... like i said in my last post.. when he is standing up with neck straight out and his tail is shooting up and out he looks alot diff... this was the best picture I had though.

Mystery Roo - What breed is he?

Thanks, but I don't do facebook... I just looked at a Golden Penciled Hamburgs and it looks similar... this picture doesn't really do it justice; when you see him standing on the ground with his head pointing up and tail out he looks different..

Mystery Roo - What breed is he?

Can anyone tell me what breed this Roo is? He is purebred from Murray McMurray Hatchery... one of the rare breed chicks they throw in with all orders for free. Thanks!
