my chickens molt there all the time. It will grow back, eventually... I know mine took couple months, then another hen only took like 2 weeks.. It's different for each chicken!
Chickens at this age can look a lot alike haha! Do not be shocked in a couple weeks he/she will start looking alot different. Could be a Blue Andalusian, looks like it to me. If I were you, I would type into google images "Blue Andalusian chicks" and you can see if it is!
_My dog got into my chickens! None are injured just got feathers ripped out of them. 4 (out of 14) of my hens went into hiding in the
woods! Within the last 2 hours 3 of them have retured , EXCEPT for 1 hen...my 5 year old hen named Ginger :-( My favorite one! I am sure

Yeah! Just there feathers are so different! Like fuzz lol. tomorrow it is going to be -30! So I am trying to keep my coop warm with two heat lamps, and wood chips, with straw stacked everywhere apprx. 2 feet high! lol.
That is awesome! I had two chickens gone missing when it decided to snow the first time in the year, figured it just had to snow..... But I was worried sick about them, but they seemed to survive, it was an incredible feeling!!

Good news! They got over being scared and isolated they are 100% comfortable with the other hens, they do not get picked on anymore! Everyone is all happy!!! :)
So maybe a couple times a year (SHE ISN'T SICK EITHER, I DO KNOW WHEN THEY ARE SICK) her eyes get a little watery and
bubbly, yes I know it sounds she is sick with Respiratory disease but she is not because it only last a couple days then
she is back to normal healthy as horse and I know...
