    Thanks. Ahh, they're lovely. My husband wants to get some Buff Orpington. Not easy to get special breeds here, so we bring the eggs over from England. I will be interested in the conclusion when Hope passes. My Barred rooster is my favourite of all my chickens - love him - he's huge.

    My chicks are 2 wks old. I live in Spain, so the temperature of the outside living area is 87F and at night it dips to about 73F. Would they be ok outside, if I put the heat lamp in there for the night? cheers.
