Not a great image--I wanted to let her chill out after the injection, which she was not happy about. the orange hue is from the iodine I used this AM (it was the only thing I had on hand).

I was able to get Penicillin G and Microcyn for poultry at Tractor Supply. I gave her 0.25cc intramuscularly and cleaned the wound with microcyn and applied a triple antibiotic cream. She's really listless.

I use a similar technique for integrating, but I would never attempt it before 12 weeks, or when the younger ones are at least 75% grown. Otherwise they are not strong enough.
