Okay... a friend of mine has peacocks... beautiful birds... he gave me 3 eggs to hatch, with the intent to raise them a while and tame them down for him. They would then go back to my friends as we live in a suburban area and CAN'T KEEP PEACOCKS.
Only one egg hatched... so we put a Serama...
Check it out...
I feel like we have been vindicated... LOL

This is my first time hatching duck eggs. My girls have always had very successful chick hatches, but now they are being put to the test with 14 call duck eggs.
The eggs were given to my Silkies on the Jan 21, so we are not even at a week. I brought Maxine and Madeline inside and they are...

John was my friend. John was everyone's friend.
John was born with a rare heart conditon and several other life threatening issues but he beat all the odds and survived longer than expected. John lost his father, Jeffrey Berendt, a year ago. John is now with Jeffrey again.

I'm tired of family always being at me... I can't cry cause there is always someone around... our friends mean well, but just end up making me worse... so I turn to strangers who feel like friends to say what I have to say...
My dear sweet wonderful husband, who has never even had a cavity...

Now, as I am bending down, picking up my...
