Hello all! I have black copper marans and olive eggers. They are 2 weeks old today and I read that one way to sex them is by tailfeathers. 4 of my chucks have tailfeatehr and 2 do not at all. Dies this mean they are roosters? Thanks for any responses.

I have shipped eggs and the air sack moves around a little. Is it detached or do all air sacks move around? Thanks

I feel as if it may be dead but not sure. It was pecking at the side earlier but not anymore. It has been an hour since I saw movement. Is it asleep or dead? How can I tell?

It is day 21 and about two hours ago I picked up my egg and tapped it and it chirped. Then I tried to see again but it isn't chirping but is moving around the egg. Is anything wrong? How long tell hatch?

I believe two of my chicks have died while in incubation. It is currently day 19 and I can see no veins in the eggs but the air cells are growing. Does that mean my chicks are still alive? In my other egg I can see veins just not with these ones.

Okay so my hen is sitting on two eggs right now in the coop. When they hatch do I need to separate her and them from the rest of the flock? If so how do I do this?

Do you know what this black line is?

It is a Wyandot egg and it is day 7. The egg color is brown and the temp is usually about 100-101. Humidity about 40-50. I am just worried it there is something wrong. Thanks for the page.
