i got a silkie hen at an auctoin yesterday , and today i noticed her notrils are plugged w yellow stuff !shes active eating well and drinking , the stuff is dried not runny , droppings r norm, not coughing and hre weight is pefect how do i clean her nosrils, or is this the start of infection

I got some standard breeds on sunday 2 cinn. queens , 1 blk australorp , 1 blk sex link and a blk cochin . i had 4 bantams already, and the giants came and took over:barnie ! they seem to be doing a little better w the bantams. I hope in time they will get along ????

I use shredded aspen sold as premium horse bedding i get a #45 bale for $6.00 it keeps the odor down and very absorbent .I go throgh and clean out droppings every other day and replace the entire bedding as needed . If you have a mills fleet farm near you thats where i get it. good luck
