what treat do pigeons go wild for?

I have a small flock of pigeons. One cock is very friendly and will follow me. I would like to hand feed my birds treats to tame them. What do pigeons love? Thanks

Peanuts!

Raw peanuts (I give them spanish peanuts since they're a bit smaller) for some reason will make them go crazy. They'll eat them up before anything else. But, it may take a little while for them to recognize them as food at first. But once they get the taste, they love'em

Another treat they like is safflower seed.

Some of the feed supliers actually sell pigeon candy. It's small grain that they love. A friend of mine uses it to train his birds to trap quicker.

My birds love bread. Just take a couple of slices, tear them in small pieces and throw them on the floor. Mine love it!

Hemp seeds....not cheap but they love it...and yes you can buy it..........legal but has been treated. you will even find it in some bird feed.
