The scab on the bottom of her foot is very small and it was flat/no swelling. She does not limp at all. When I was picking at the scab on the bottom of her foot she never flinched.

It looks like bumble foot. I soaked in Epsom salt, got some of the scab off, sprayed with Vetericyn, put ointment on a cotton ball and wrapped foot. I am wondering what to do with the top part? Why does it look like that?

She is not limping or seems to be in any pain. We just happened to notice it. What do you think it is and what do I need to do to fix it? Thanks!

Update. 🤢. Soaked and this came off with tweezers. Sprayed with antibiotic spray, sprayed the cotton ball down and added ointment, wrapped with vet wrap. Anything else? How long does wrap need to stay on? Thanks!

Is there any reason to have drakes in the flock if you do not intend to hatch?

I have 2 drakes (did not mean to keep 2, one tricked me and I thought it was going to be a hen). 5 hens
