    That has to be a pullet but I am no expert! And I am sure people will disagree but that looks like a silkie cross. I have two silkie/Rhode island red chicks (they are gorgeous:love) and they have the feather feet . Their body feathers are normal though . It's looks identical to one of my chicks...

    Ok I have one other question, sorry ! The other peachick is acting normal but is getting lonely already. Would it be safe to get a other peachick? The cages are clean but I read somewhere that cocci is not contagious. And it would be given the medicated feed and the Corid as a preventive .

    Can sulfadimethoxine be bought anywhere or does a vet have to sell it to you ?

    I know how cocci works and how to treat for it but we don't have vets that deal with chickens so getting the sulfadimethoxine would be hard. And like I said before, my question was about it drinking water. I was never completely sure that it even had cocci , I was just taking an educated guess.

    Oppps sorry , I took that pic the day I got them and yes they were on cedar but i changed it to pine as soon as I got them home !

    No it's pine . And yes , cedar is NOT good for peachicks .
