6 week Muscovy ducks for sale

We have Muscovy ducklings for sale. Muscovy ducks require very little maintenance. We have handled the ducklings so they are friendly. A few facts about muscovies for those who have never had them: 1. They do not quack. The males (drakes) make a low huffing sound and the females make a...

    Selling Ducks

We have had a very successful breeding season this year. SO MANY DUCKLINGS. It's been a lot of work keeping up (spendy too). I posted on Craigslist but only sold one so far. Where do you usually post your ducks/chickens for sale? I am in the Boise, Idaho area. I did post to the forum on here...

    Flystrike in hatching eggs?

Yeah, I included a pic of that in my post because it’s what I’ve been using. It catches a lot but there are still so many. It was 100-105 all summer.

    Flystrike in hatching eggs?

She decided to lay her eggs next to the food and you can see the nest is under some wood I screwed to the fence to help protect them. I do think netting and a spray is going to be my best options.

    Flystrike in hatching eggs?

I’ve never even heard of poultry protector. Just looked it up and see it’s a spray. Do I just spray around the nest?

    Flystrike in hatching eggs?

The fan is a good idea. I am not sure how the momma duck would be able to get in and out with netting around the nest but I’ll definitely look into it! :)

    Flystrike in hatching eggs?

I wasn’t sure if I should move them because we let the duck sit on them. I will totally move them if that’s an option but the flies are everywhere. We can kill 10 in our house and still find a bunch. It’s been absolutely ridiculous this year.

    Flystrike in hatching eggs?

I’ve searched the internet and it seems I am the only one having this problem. The flies seem to be laying eggs inside the eggs while the ducklings are hatching. We have had awful flies this year. I have fly traps, I spray out their pen and lay new straw and clean out their pool often. But the...

    Duck adopting other ducks ducklings?

This duckling is not hers but she won’t leave her side, ha ha.

    Duck adopting other ducks ducklings?

First clutch that hatched my ducks sister kind of took over being the mom (abandoning her nest). The ducklings followed her like she was their mother. This time the same duck hatched 9 ducklings and one of them won’t leave my other ducks side (who is not her mother) even though she is sitting...

Will a squirrel kill a duckling?

I found a hole in the fence that you can’t see from inside the pen. I bought new fence planks and sealed it. I only found it when my neighbor said one of my ducklings was outside the fence and he was right next to the hole, ha ha.

When I dumped the food out it was completely dry. I tried one of those and it did catch a lot but All that was left in the feeder was powder from the feed and it was comepletely dry. I have one of those All that was left in the feeder was powder from the duckling feed and it was completely...
