Found a hidden quail egg - do we eat it??

We are using a deep litter method for our quail and found an egg buried under some pine shavings. It cannot have been there more than two days though, because we had recently cleaned out their coop. How long can an egg potentially sit before you decide to toss it??

    Will quail eat pellets??

I got a new game bird feed, it’s pellets instead of crumbles. It seemed like my birds ate some at first but now haven’t touched it in a day or two. I’ve got 6 jumbo coturnix. Do pellets just last longer or are they not eating?? I’m so new to this still! Thanks for any help!

    Quail lifespan/egg production

What age of chicks to buy?

I finally found someone local who sells Coturnix Quail chicks (seriously, how do y'all find them?!). They sell them at 1 week for $1, 2 weeks for $2, or 5 weeks old for $5/each. So now I'm wondering what's best. We're wanting them for eggs, planning to get about 6. Here's my pros of each as I...
