Poor baby. I wonder if you made her some type of neck support to help her hold her head up. Just feel she may start to feel better but if her neck stays this way it may never straighten back up.
We have a lady here where we live and she free ranges a very large flock of chickens. We have all kinds of predators here on the Peninsula. She has a Great Pyrenees out with her flock. They are large dogs, but maybe if you have a dog and trust it with your chickens let it hang out with them...
I so sorry that happened to you. I think I would be just as upset if something like that happened to my quackers. I just love them so much. Who would have thought you could love ducks this much! I know it would be hard to look at after, but I do hope you took pictures of everything. I would...
Be easy on yourself. Life has a way of throwing boulders infront of us to slow us down and or discourage us. Your pup probably really didn't mean to kill those chicks if he was use to being around your other animals. This is my 1st year with ducks. Whwn i brought those little guys home I made...

I have a runner a.k.a Fern who's feathers look puffed out a lot. Could she be sick? She has been this way for about 2 weeks now. Any suggestions? Can't get her to a vet as doesn't seem to be one that sees ducks where I am in the PNW.
