What did you do in the garden today?

I put four in wicking bucket and moved them to a sunny location, in my back yard. I left 3 on the side of my house in the same pots and used calcium carbide on two plants, but only one has fruit forming. They are about 2 years old, so the bigger plants should be ready. The plants on the side of...

I asked my A1 bot about pineapples, and it was as I thought quartered crowns take longer to fruit, since they take longer to reach maturity. This is what came up............. :frow Commercial pineapple farmers usually plant whole crowns, which are the leafy tops of the pineapple fruits. Crowns...

What did you do in the garden today?

I cut my pineapple crown into 4 pieces and planted them, and they grew, but it took a long time for them to turn into a fruit size plant. However, this guy in the video said it will fruit faster if we quarter it and remove the center leaf. However, he did not present any scientific evidence, so...

What did you do in the garden today?

One out of two of my pineapple plants has an actual fruit forming. It happened after I put calcium carbide on them. I didn't think it would work, since I washed most of the calcium carbide off when I did it. I found out I shouldn't have used so much water later after watching the fruiting video...

What did you do in the garden today?

I started to get mosquito bites after a month long off and on raining. I have to clean my Dyna mosquito traps and replace the UV light and bait, but I am going to let the neighbors suffer a bit before doing my maintenance.

What did you do in the garden today?

I am trying to grow 3 ft Tycoon tomatoes indoors with a decent Spider Farmer grow light. I have 2 plants in a 5 gallon grow bag sitting on an AC infinity wicking base. I might be able to grow 4 of them, since my light is rated for a 4ft x 2ft space. I am having fun; it gives me something to look...

The 12-inch okra was still tender, but the smooth skin on the smaller green okra tasted better. I think the 17inch okra variety from Louisiana was bred for slow cooked gumbo.

What did you do in the garden today?

I let this 17-inch okra variety get up to 12 inches. The smaller one is from another variety. I will put them in my saimin for lunch. I got some heavy hitter okra sprouts from Bakers Creek coming along, they should be regular size okras, with heavy production. However, it should be a while...

What did you do in the garden today?

I started eating my free Merlot red leaf lettuce I got from Bakers Creek. They pull on the romaine leaf side. They were easier to grow than the butter crunch type. It's a keeper.

It was so powerful with the cure high blood pressure claim and Shark tank fake employee testimony... My Bitdefender anti-virus just blocked its email address saying I had something in my cart, and my Bank just sent me a suspicious activity report and listed that site as declined.

What did you do in the garden today?

I saw a promotion for a CBD gummy that lowered blood pressure, and it was being promoted as a product of Shark Tank. I tried to order it, but it's a good thing their system doesn't take two letter last names. I did a scam search on the company's product, and there were a lot of red flags that...

I got my Skittle candy that I ordered from amazon the other day. This was my first time trying them, they were soft and chewy with a crispy colorful outer coating. It tasted sweet and tangy like citrus with multiple flavors. However, I think they designed the coating so we can't eat too many of...

My chickens will eat sweet potato leaves and Choi sum leaves, but they don't like lettuce. The red lettuce on the fence will still be there at the end of day.

Why no plastic? Anyway, they make these cheap small freezer vials that can store seeds for a long time. They also, sell small glass vials, but I don't know if we can put those in the freezer. By the way the smaller .50ml is more expensive than the 1ml vials on this link. They cost about 9 cents...

What did you do in the garden today?

Waterproof duct tape is working for me. I wet my bucket cover and put a square plastic sheet on top, this makes it easier to cut round with a scissor. I cut a line halfway and wrap it around the stem of my plant, so that the plastic is just on the edge of the rim. I put a tape where it slightly...

What did you do in the garden today?

I got an idea to use stretchable sticky tape to hold the plastic in place and waterproof duct tape for the seam. I got the idea after making a mess with clear silicone. I ordered the heavy-duty sticky tape from amazon just now. It rained last night, and the plastic I put around my plant kept the...

What did you do in the garden today?

I am trying something new with my Tomato Kratky bucket set up. I made a mound around my tomato plant in a 5-inch bucket net cup cover and covered it with plastic. The mound will make the rainwater run off the sides. This set up has 4 buckets strung together with a stacked float valve bucket...

I am impressed with my Burpee self-watering seed tray that I bought from Walmart. My 36 seed tray cells are not sitting in the water, it sits on an elevated platform with a wicking mat and comes with a clear cover. Seeds that failed to sprout with my other seed trays, has sprouted. I think it's...

You could make your reservoir higher than your totes and drip water into the tote's reservoir. My earth box drinks about a gallon a day, so you could adjust the drip to refill 1 gallon or less a day and shut it off at night. There is a drain hole on my earth boxes, so it can never be over filled.
