Hi, I ordered 3 leghorns and got them about a 1 1/2 weeks ago. One of the chicks now is twice the size of the other two. I was wondering if the bigger one is just older or if it could be a White Rock. Are White rocks bigger than Leghorns? The wing feather developement looks a little bit more...
I had placed an order for 3 leghorns and 3 auracanas. The leghorns came in last week. The aurancans might come in this week. My question is can I put the new chicks in with the leghorns who will be a week old now and what temp should I have it at to keep both ages comfortable.
I saw this rooster and fell in love. What is their behavior like? How big do they get? Are they very loud? Say like loud like a parrot? Would they be notice if it were kept indoors? I had a conur parrot once that was so loud!!
Thanks

This is Zephyr. She is small. She lays small white eggs. I was wondering if she was some type of Old English?
She is nesting in a wine box that holds two wine bottles.
Hi, I live in the Monterey area of California. I do have hens and want to raise a few meat birds. My concern is I do not think I can butcher them myself as I do live in the city even though I can have chickens.
Does anyone know of where I could take them to have them processed?
Thanks
